i was just wondering if you can quantize one pad instead of the whole track

I'm not sure what you mean? I'm pretty sure quantise is applied to a track though... What is it exactly you are trying to do - give us the context.

nah i wanted to apply it to one pad but i only works for each track

I still don't follw - why would you want to quantize a PAD? That is quantizing a SAMPLE... You cant quantise an audio sample on ANY hardware.

Acid, Cubase, Logic, Sonar all do that, but not hardware afaik

Theoretically you can get a 1/8 and 1/16th quantize by using [roll], but that's all that's possible for just one pad, unless you record your quantized track as a single sample.
