Loud Clicking Sound with Certain Effects

Hi all,

So I recently imported a bunch of drum hits into my 404 (loaded on the external card), but I'm having some strange playback issues when applying effects to these samples. What I like to do is sequence out a drum pattern, and then experiment with different effects (usually the vinyl sim or compression) applied to all of the samples. However, this usually results in periodic, extremely loud clicks on certain samples, and intense volume fluctuations on the pattern as a whole.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. Maybe it has to do with some of the files I imported?

I'll get that sometimes with isolator if the samples are already loud. It just peaks a lot and fast so it clicks. just turn down the levels on samples I guess

Do you have your effect limit (on) or (off)?

If its off compression will do that to samples.

i always keep my effect limit on. Occassionally ill turn if off for the DJFX looper.
