SanDisk Ultra II CF card

Post by duragdave »

soo i wanted a larger cf card so i could load larger samples into my sp but my sp doesnt recognize my Sandisk Ultra II 2.0 cf card, im able to fully access it on my computer but my sp wont let me format it. I was wondering if i formatted it wrong on my computer? Is there a specific setting for formatting your cf card for sp?

I don't think you can use anything above 1GB in size.

You can use much larger, up to 16GB I believe. I'm using a 16GB micro in the adaptor.

He's on a 404og which only supports 1gb max compact flash cards.
404sx can take up to 16 or 32gb SD or micro SD cards.

Try formatting it in FAT (not 16 or 32) and name the card: FUGUEFAT
Notice the uppercase. This *might* work. Let us know.
