OK I finally figured out what was going on when I was trying to use the sp606 as a usb storage device. It was sooo simple I just wanted to slap myself.
All you have to do is hit menu on the sp606 scroll down to usb mass storage hit enter. Thats it, it shows up on my desktop, just ignore the found new hardware.
The sp606 will not work as an audio interface on xp 64 bit. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out and it was right there in front of me the whole time.
Now to transfer wav files you must go to export function in card utillity before you do the usb mass storage. Select your samples for export, let it do its thing. I had to unplug my usb cable and re plug it in before I did the mass storage operation. But all files transferred no probs.
