sidenote : I think home studio recordings can handle High end gear for acoustics if you plan with using a little less gain power and way more isolation and treatment. for somethings anyway.

I got an SM57, a CAD Trion 7000 and a hacked CAD kbm412 and I use a ART PRO MPA II with swapped tubes as my mic pre.

I get a nice dark sound from them with a slight roll off in the top end... works really good with lo-fi production. My vox sit pretty nice int his setup
