sp404sx + monotribe, sync with tap tempo?
I try to synchronize the beat of my monotribe with my SP404 with the help of tap tempo, pressing it on time several times, but it seems not work. Has anyone ever managed to successfully sync? (taking into account my monotribe has no midi)
Thank you.
Thank you.

To get tap tempo on SP to control the Monotribe it sounds like you will need to use a recorded audio click on the SP and run that into the Monotribe sync port. Details in the articles/reviews linked below the following quote:
"NSync
Most excitement seems to have been around the external interfacing options - with Sync IN and Sync Out ports. I can confirm that it will sync to 15ms Pulse - from your clock output or in my case the Korg MS-20 Trigger out, but I couldn’t get much joy with external audio signals from my DAW (say a synth click or metronome). However, I did get it to work by simply recording the sync out from the Monotribe and playing it back from the DAW - that was fine. Experiments connecting the synth to LFO clock and returning Triggers from the MS20 also worked fine."

Re: sp404sx + monotribe, sync with tap tempo?
You say that, I must record a sample of a click (pulse 15m) and send it to my monotribe sync in, so every time I change the tempo of the sample monotribe tempo will change, right? ....... sounds great!!!
Moreover, I can change the tempo of a sample (sp-404sx) by simply pressing the tap tempo on several times (according to time)?
I do but seems not to work
thank you very much! Om_Audio

Re: sp404sx + monotribe, sync with tap tempo?
The Monotribe is very picky and seems only to respond to a single click track sound- no accents on the 1 etc. Only way it would be useful is if you have an SP that has assignable outputs (maybe 606 or 808 have these) and you could dedicate the click pad to one of those outputs only. The Monotribe will not sync if it is getting anything more than just a click on the sync input.
