Can you sample while the sequencer is running on an MPC 2kxl

So I couldn't remember my password to the MPC forums and for the life of me I cant fin anything myself . I know on my 1000 and 5000 I can, but the 2k wont do it. Is there a setting to do so.

i think it is impossible to sample while the sequencer runs. i got a mpc2000 (classic not xl) and it can't sample anything when it's playing a sequence. i think is the same on the xl
