Hey!
i recently started making more beats on my 303 so i'm still learning some of the basics. I got two questions. Can you record a session of playing different patterns to a pad? And when playing different patterns is it possible to make breaks like dropping the kick or sample or whatever or do you have to record a new pattern? how do YOU do?
Cheers

Re: Playing patterns
Kool. But can i resample with the pattern select on? If so how?
Re: Playing patterns
No (correct me if wrong).
You create phrases with the resample method on pads. After that you resample a phrase on another pad and so on...
finally you can place these (the resampled phrases) on the pads in pattern mode if you wish and just go into pattern mode to play them in the order you want.
That's how I understand it.
p.s.
What really would be great is too be capable of 'blending' patterns. Where you switch from one pattern into the other and the tempo stays on point like a step sequencer. So when you have pattern 1 drums with a kick/snare/hats and patter 2 the same without the snare you can just 'punch' them in and out.
I wonder what kind of alternatives, creative solutions people have for this.

Re: Playing patterns
unfortunately, that is possible only with external sequencer...
