The tascam, emax, eps-16, mirage and S612...all gone!

The Eps16 is the only piece I really, really regret selling.

I was happy with just a turntable, sampler, and something to record with.
You guys got all this gear.
My girlfriend would have a fit if she walked into my room with all that.
Some dope setups though.

Yo, that's part of the reason I started chopping my rig down. I'm married and have 3 kids. Instead of dedicating a whole room to my studio, I brought it in the bedroom and gave the spare room to my kids for a play room.

On top of that, having a ton of gear is madddd overrated. I have touched almost every serious legacy sampler and I can say that with the exception of one or two (IMO) they really don't impart that much final character on your music.

And in all honestly, I think the Boss SP line is the least replaceable sampler. It's has more character than any of the big guns, partly because of the FX...but they really shine all on their own.

I'm gonna be chopping my shit down to a smaller footprint soon.

this is what I'm working with. (please excuse the carpet, it ended up there during a good mushroom trip haha)- anyways I just ordered a Numark TTUSB Turntable to add to the setup. and the bass guitar in the background is an offbrand bass and the keyboard is my friends old $40 yamaha which sounds terrible.

@TheDingo
do the alesis module let you upload samples of your own, and how's the drums feel?

@ellaguru - I'm actually not too sure about that but there are a bunch of kits on there right now. It's my friends so I'm just learning but I'd assume you can get more samples. And they feel great, definitely adds more natural flow to my music
*edit* Yes, you can add additional samples but only drum kits bought by alesis, I believe :x which are like $50 US

mr. thraz- your krk's are backwards. flip them 180 degrees so the tweeters are on the outside. you'll get a better stereo image. high frequencies are directional, bass isn't
