Shit, I finally broke down and bought a new kitchen.

microkorg. mono synths are for basslines and appregio lines and leads. you cant play chords on a mini brute. volca keys has 3 polyphony so 3 chord notes max. microkorg/gaia/r3/novation all dope. but i suggest the r3 or microkorg. fat fat bass. gaia is great for chords, bass i find a little less fat then the r3. its an amazing VA synth. i used to have the mk, but now have the r3. i like the r3 better. little easier to create synths, but you can also swap patches with the mk XL, they run on the same engine. for 600 bucks and what you want it to do these are your best option.
