Problems when loading more than 16 wav sounds

Post by Thrasybule »

Hey!

I'm a drummer and I use the SP-555 to launch sounds while I play. The sounds I use are short, no longer than 2 ou 3 seconds.
When I tried to load 30 different sounds, wav, 16Bit, 44.1, the upload never goes complete. And it never stops at the same step. Sometimes I've got 4 sounds loaded, sometimes 16 and so and so....

Does anyone experienced the same problem? And what can I do to solve that?

Thanks!

Make sure all your samples are compatible. Open them in a wave editor and resave them as 16 bit wav. I batch process anything with SoundForge: bit depth 16 bits. Resample: 44.1khz and 16 bit. Some samples on Internet are compressed or encoded lower to save space.
