I played around with a friend's monoTRIBE yesterday, I think the follow-up of the monotron. It's a really nice thing. Basically a synth/arpeggiator/groovebox and a very basic drum computer with three sounds. You can record sequences on the synth, and use 16 steps to turn off or on any note. Good for making acid, but it's also great to sample single synth notes from for use with an SP....
in any case, it got me greedy.

I have all 3 monotrons, I primarily use the delay in conjunction with sp-202 and it's rad. Good for transitions, builds and break downs. And they're fun as hell, holy sh*t i love them

Any on these tracks? I like the synced synth on Geometric Means.

Been bumpin these tracks in the car. How did you make that sample in track 10, where its kinda high pitched garble.. right before the low pitched bass sound. That whole sequence sounds like a conversation between 2 cartoon characters.

^^^

hey thanks thats a funny description. It wasnt a sound i was specifically aiming for. i chopped it out of a longer recording of me fiddling with the knobs on the korg monotron. Im not sure if it was the duo or the OG though.

but yeah it was a small bit chopped out of a longer synth recording.
