Made my first beat on the SP-404SX!

I'm pretty new to the 404 and decided to make a beat with it today. Been solely using Ableton for my productions in the past and using the 404 just for samples/effects, mainly in performing. I went for the more avant-garde, raw sound, recorded and resampled in one take.

Would love to hear any feedback!

Sounds great! So did you record the samples in in one take, playing it 'live' so to speak? Did you use the SP's sequencer at all?

Since it seems I can't record a pattern into a regular sample, I created my drum loop in ableton, then played that out along with the sample in a live take, recorded. Then resampled to add effects and other samples. I don't know anything about the sequencer though, I'll have to look into that.
