Amazing.

I just got my SP-404sx the other week and I instantly took a blade to the spine of the manual and chopped the english out, taped the spine and boom. 350 pages down to 50.

Now that's what you call sample chopping!

Glad it helped! Good job on chopping the manual, now make a collage out of the discards and post pics- would be the first 100% analog non-audio SP resample ever maybe!

Hah, nice- thats funny.
The reason I did the job w the 404SX was because they only offered one manual which was huge and had different languages.

Just for you though because you are in SoCal like me and clearly a nice guy who does a lot of charity work for orphans and the environment I put the OG manual in my DB folder as well.

i was glad i got all the box goodies with my sx
i find it fun reading the other languages, see how far my reading comprehension goes
plus it really is useful to learn stuff like french and spanish sample technology to help with languages i actually (try to) speak

plus the thicker manual is easier to roll a j on !

Man, I was just trying to speak Spanish with a client yesterday- never even thought to try and read other languages in manuals- not a bad idea at all since it is material you have translation of in same place and is info you understand.

69MB was ridiculous though!
