so I just bought this new behringer fca1616 jawn and its making my monitors make these popping noises...like pretty loud and really often...pretty much whenever i open a new page or when i try to play music/midi notes etc...
im running it with an 09 macbook pro and theres no drivers for macs with this interface...checked my monitors without my interface and theres no popping. Also tried different cables/power strips/outlets with no luck
any thoughts?

i don't know mac world, that computer accepts well FireWire soundcards? if it's the case, i'd check if there's some latency parameters to adjust on the behringher soft, maybe? the soundcard has it its own software? or check your software/sequencer too in the audio preferences...is the soft/seq compatible with the behringher soundcard? what soft do you use?
good luck
good luck

i heard of soundcards popping when you shut your computer down,
for mac i remember it works best when you use 1 program at a time.

Sounds like an Asio driver problem.
Does it pop and crack only in your audio software or when playing back other audio eg. off youtube, itunes etc.?
