got a track recording on the 404.. same loop all the way through .. How the fu-shnikken can the volume all of a sudden start peaking half way in ?( and start getting harsh to the ear-peaces???) .. resamplin my tracks with an mfx laced on top ... Always P-i- double snakes'd me off when it happens ..very odd occurrence ..PS its not an effect that could double up on itself( such as delay or tape echo)

Seems card issues have surfaced...you running out of room on it?

Also, what effect you had on it? Maybe, if you're looping that sound, resample it as a loop with the effect you want, then reasample that sample looped sample with the effect on it completely dry but looped...shit that stuff I typed just now is confusing...lemme try again just in case you don't get what I'm sayin'...

1.) You have original loop.
2.) Resample original loop with the effect you want
3.) Trim that shit to loop like it did before
4.) Do your original goal of resampling the loop over and over with this new version.

Dunno what else to try.

you might have a point with card memory

I usually sequence beats externally then ..

Make beat into kaossilator > 404 ext in (with pitch shift on) > pitch again via resample

then sometimes the harsh business happens on and off..(digital distortion?)

maybe I need tape
