Post your poor single guy recipes here. I'll start with 2:

Southwest Chicken Ramen

2 packs of chicken flavor ramen
1 chicken breast
1 bell pepper
1/2 onion
1 tomato
pepper
(mrs. dash if you want)
Butter

Cook the chicken in a skillet with a little bit of butter. Chop into small pieces.
Set aside

Dice the vegetables and saute them (un-goo the tomato, use the hard parts only) in some butter for a bit in a skillet (you can use same skillet). take about 3/4 cup water and 2 ramen flavor packets and throw in the meat into the skillet with the vegies and simmer for 10-12 minutes or so. Cook ramen in separate bot as normal (boil in water). Drain the ramen when done.

Serve by putting the 'veggie/meat' mix on your noodles. Use mrs. dash and pepper to taste.
-----------------
Mac n Shit

box of mac n cheese
4 hot dogs
head of brocoli
mushrooms
cooking oil
butter
random seasonings (i like shiracha)

chop up the hot dogs into fun little discs. chop the brocoli head until you got lots of little flowers with small stems. cut mushrooms in half. All these ingredients are to taste, so just play with how much you want. Throw the hot dogs and mac into pot with water. Pot should have steamer attachment. Put brocoli into steamer and put lid on and leave on highish heat for about 12 minutes. While that's going, put some cooking oil into a separate skillet and stir fry the mushrooms. If you're good at timing, the mushrooms should stop squeaking (which means they're done) around the time your mac and other stuff is ready. Remove the steamer and set aside, remove mushrooms from heat and set aside. Drain the pasta and hot dogs. Throw in amount of butter as indicated on mac package, don't use milk. Mix in the flavor packet into there after the butter is melted. Throw in your seasonings and brocoli and mushrooms. Stir until it's all mixed well. Eat it.

Share your random recipes you've figured out while eating the last bit of shit in your crib.

The "I can't really be this lazy"

You will need:

One can bush vegetarian(or not, it's just what I had in the pantry) baked beans

1/4 bag of sea salt and cracked pepper kettle chips some friends left at the house

Heat beans to can's prep instructions, pour into large bowl, add chips.

I know it sounds disgusting, and I'm embarrassed to have eaten this, but it was surprisingly delicious.

Dude sometimes I wanna be Iron Chef Noms, bachelor chow's all I cook. Every round's an improv so after a while you end up super confident with whatever's in the cupboard or cheap at the shops. These are all vegetarian because its cheaper to not buy meat & will last ages in the fridge if you store it right.

#1: Scromlets
Serves: 1 hungry man (aka 3 kids or 2 women)

ingredients
4 eggs
1/2 red onion
1 carrot
1/2 capsicum (red, green, yellow, whatever)
2 spring onions
+any other spare veggies
chili sauce (hotter the better)
soy sauce

method
Chop up veggies & pan fry/wok fry with a little oil (preferably olive).
When veggies are nearly done, break eggs & mix with veggies in frying pan.
Just before the eggs are fully done (ie- dry), remove from pan, chuck on plate. Add sauce to taste.
Results should look like a colourful mess.

-------------

#2: Everything Soup
note this is a totally free-form recipe, use whatever you want.
Serves: Enough for a week if refrigerated & stored correctly.

ingredients
3 large onions
3 potatoes
2 carrots
2 capsicums
1/2 cup of dried green peas
1 bullhorn chili
handful of green beans
^basically any combo of your favourite veggies
1x 280gram can of mixed beans (kidney beans, borlotti beans, chickpeas etc)
1x 400gram can of crushed tomatoes
1x 280gram can of baby corn spears
1x small can of bamboo shoots
1 cup of dry soup mix
2 cubes of veggie stock
herbs to taste (usually oregano, rosemary)
spices to taste (usually cayenne pepper, hot paprika)
*add bacon for amazing*

method
Fry veggies until soft, add all other stuff (don't drain cans, the juice has flavour)
Add water until everything's probably under 2 or 3 cups of water
Bring to boil, cover, simmer (covered) for 40 minutes or so. Stir regularly.
Keep an eye on water levels, the soup mix will suck a lot up. Add more water as needed.
Results should look like a colourful mess.

-------------

3: Superchili
Serves: 3 hungry dudes (or loads of weaklings)

ingredients
4 red onions
4 capsicums
3 spring onions
2 bullhorn chilis
1 carrot
8 fresh jalapenos
2x 400gram cans of crushed tomatoes
1x 400gram can of red kidney beans
1x 280gram can of mixed beans
loads of cumin powder, cayenne pepper & hot paprika

method
Finely grate the carrot
In a deep saucepan brown onions at a medium/low temperature, then add carrot, chilis & capsicums & soften.
Add tomatoes, beans (again keep the beans' juice) & spices.
Raise temperature & bring to boil them simmer (covered) for about 45 minutes, stir regularly.
Results should look like a red/brown mess.

-------------

#4 Disappointment Risotto
Serves: 2 if you could be arsed to eat it

ingredients
1 cup rice (any kind)
3 cups water
1 onion
3 spring onions
1/4 cup dried peas
2 cubes veggie stock
400gram can of crushed tomatoes
2 bay leaves
parmesan cheese

method
Brown onions then add everything else.
Bring to boil then simmer until water's gone.
Add parmesan cheese.
Results should look like a mess.

I'm gonna have to try some of these! I personally don't often get very creative when cooking but I've been trying out new meals at least every Monday. I'm a bit ashamed to say I often go with some pre-prepped stuff instead of cooking from scratch.
Probably shouldn't take my advice. I weigh almost 250  but anyways,
Some favorite meals are:
chicken (often baked breast) with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans or broccoli
nachos (baked in oven) with refried beans and salsa
pretty much any kind of tacos
chicken pasta - often using the angel hair and herb variation from pastaroni, and add some veggies
chicken helper and hamburger helper varieties are usually pretty damn good
to combat beer shits- i'll mix some of that tostitos monteray jack sauce with some salsa, then eat it with a monteray jack quesadilla. I call it the monteray jackpot.
and the best hangover remedy is carnations breakfast essentials, which is packages of nutritious powder that you mix with milk. My fav is the chocolate one. I'm not a fan of the texture of bananas so for my potassium I put a half a frozen banana and a few ice cubes in the blender with it for a chocolate banana milkshake.
