It's a mix man, it really depends on my mood the day of. But I always make the drum pattern first and then jam out with the melodies on top for a while. then usually just start playing shit on top. Sometimes I play the drums live, a lot of this stuff is quantized cus I was still figuring out certain MPC functions, like turning quantize off, that seriously took me like 2 months to figure out.... anyway thanks for the love!
