Sp 404sx REC problem. Need Help Please.

Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone can tell me whats going on with my sp 404sx. when i push the rec button to make a sample the external source button lights up and i cant turn it off. does anyone know whats going on? Thanks

I have the 404, not sx, but I figure it's the same, if you're recording into the unit the ext source button will light up because the rca inputs are an external source, it's just the nature of the beast man
