this applies to any effect .. countless beats I've ruined over doing the pitch on the 404 .. apply effects in moderation .. Lessons learnt beats destroyed

Totally! Try to keep the dry sound somewhere, that way when you realise what you've done a week later you can just reverse that shit :-)

this is an advantage of recording/mixing on a computer, you can always undo or change the effect and board settings.. I stay in Reason though, no VST ever
