anybody using Renaissance or maschine? Had a quick blast on the maschine .. Enjoyed it but don't like the idea of needing a PC .. is the Renaissance just like using an mpc hardware .. Does it allow creativity the same? done my time with a midi keyboard for years .. All about the standalone units for me now .. getting merked off by PC fumes n shit .. Sending me to sleep with the fan rotary

i enjoy both hardware and daw controllers, but i cant justify spending the money on either. i'd rather have an mpd, or even quneo, or something that has the parts that i want on it for cheap and use the mouse just a little more.
