When will the new sp beat tape get start being organised?

I really like the tapes but Iam new here. How does it work. When do they make them and how do u submit ?

Someone will volunteer to organize it, suggest some themes or ask for themes, that goes on for a bit, a theme will be selected by popularity, or uniqueness, then the organizer sets a deadline and starts taking submissions.

That's how I've seen it work in the past. If you want to organize one, go for it. Lots of people are down for submission to beat tapes.

Do I need to talk to the admin or something If I wanted to organise it ?

I don't think admin is necessary to organize any beat tape, whether it's spforum branded or simply just some of the fam throwing down. Here's link to previous beat tape threads...

This was the submission rules thread after the theme had been decided in another thread. As you can see, it attracted people and they submitted and I'm pretty sure no track was left out.

Whoever is organizing it will usually take all the beats in PM then release them all at once.

After organising vol 6 & helping out on vol 7 I gotta say it's a really rewarding thing to do...

But it takes a bunch of work & time to organise. The work's not hard, there's just a bunch of it. If you can put aside 2 or 3 hours everyday for a month for networking & keeping folks motivated then go for it!

While there was a lot of public discussion in the thread HS linked, the number of PMs I sent & received for this was insane. A lot went into the making it happen in the background.
