Hey everyone,
As new as it gets to the beat scene. Ive been a drummer / guitarists for lots of bands for years, and also edit sound for film, and I've always had an interest in beat making. Finally after obsessing over hip hop for months (more so than usual) I decided to buy an sp-404sx. So far it has been a nice substitute to drumming, as I just moved into an apartment and shelved the drums.

for these beats Ive been sampling old records and chopping them up in the 404, either over a beat pattern or I add drums in protools after (with the BOOM plugin or I play a break live on my Spd-s sampling pad.)

These are literally my first beats EVER so consider that, but I'm here for constructive criticism. My main influences are Madlib, Dilla, MF Doom, cats like that. I like it a little lofi with a few imperfections. Lemme know what you think! thanks

For "first beats" these are well put together. That Bronko track has some nice transitions.

Like everyone else has been saying, for your first beats they're max nice! I'd like to see what you're cookin' up in a year or two! KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON!
