man check The Library viewforum.php?f=14
there's heaps of kits there, and links to find other kits

also; every time you hear a song where there's a drum break, chop it into individual parts

no need to buy any commercial kits

i sample from anything. i keep a small pocket tape recorder on me and when i want to sample something from tv, youtube or whatever then i use that. then i replay that into my DJ mixer and use some basic EQ options to boost the sound and sample it right into my 404. you can find drums for days all over the net for free.

ive started collecting various drum n' bass drum kits like crazy recently.

if you want to buy some stuff then buy the complete "ultimate breaks and beats CD". it has all the editions right there. it was great for me because i was missing a few.
