Yeah, if I get a new sampler it will be the Linn Drum II but I'm broke as well and have a sampler I love so I guess if I got some extra money I'll get a mixer, akg headphones, and the Tascam DP-02cf since I get tired of recording on my laptop even though it gives me more options I need something more tactile.

cheap 606

Post by HxC »

At that price it would make a good V-day gift. . .
To YOURSELF!
There is another spot supposedly selling it new for $399- try searching with Google shopping.
The SP-606 is like my favorite piece, I would even consider getting a spare before they become hard to get (which I still think will be in 3 or 4 years) I seem to think Sweetwater, AMS & Musician's Friend got plenty of them in da warehouse. By the way- I always hawk AMS & Musician's cuz a lot of times they have "factory resealed" type specials that cut alot off the price- and you still get the warranty & what not + a new machine 4 less

Doesn't 'factory resealed' mean that it's actually kinda second hand stuff more or less, simply returned to the factory?

As for these prices, go for it! You won't regret buying a SP-606. 8)

Somebody on ebay had some 606's at $420 buy it now or best offer. I gave them a laughably low offer and they said that they couldn't sell it for that low but if I called them we could work something out. So I did.

Here is the number I called. 877-477-6432

They're located in CA.

I did the same, but not on eBay. I offered 250$ and they said no, but some time later they said I could have it for 300$ and so I bought it immediately. 8)
