I ain't trying to fly the USS Enterprise. I will leave this thread for whom ever cares about time-warping with this future tech.

Give it a year and this thing will be $300 on Craigslist.

i gave it a quick look Yesterday, it doesn't seems pc dependent, i noticed it allows acdc adapter so i tought that it's also a standalone machine pardon maschine :) ; also, the fact it has 2 screens made me says that

THE HARDWARE IS $999. IT STILL REQUIRES A PC TO WORK. IT IS ONLY CONSIDERED STANDALONE FOR THE FACT THAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE MOST OF THE FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE BOX AND YOU'RE NOT SUBJECTED TO USE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD. NI MASCHINE STUDIO DOES NOT HAVE ANY AUDIO I/O (YOU WILL NEED AN AUDIO INTERFACE OR USE BUILT IN SOUNDCARD ON YOUR COMPUTER). THIS IS A $999 MIDI CONTROLLER WITH 2 FANCY SCREENS AND SOME SPFTWARE FOR YOUR COMPUTER.

MOVE ALONG NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin'.

I got the MK1 last year because of the price drop, there's no way I'm paying almost 1k for a midi controller. Nor do I see any reason to upgrade.

1k and you still gotta buy an interface. what the heck man. why would they make it so huge and not even add that to it.

Yeaaaaaa idk about this one, I was at a show last Thursday a bunch of producers/beatmakers playing live sets. This one dude ( I cant remember what he goes by) was using one of these and It crashed on him mid-set it just started glitching up and making a weird noise then his laptop just crashed. He just calmly and quickly packed his stuff up and exited stage left haha.
