How Do I Know If My Card Is Giving Me Extended Sample Time?

Post by RZtheEscapist »

I have a feeling my SP-202 is not reading the memory card. It seems that I have only factory default sampling time even with the card in. I've attempted to erase all previous saves on the card and format it. Neither of these things have resulted in me getting the extended sample time. Can anyone offer a solution or has anyone had this experience?

same shit happened to me.. check and see how many volts your card is. if its 3.3 its not gonna work. the 202 only takes 5 volt cards. and this is a perfect segue for me to sayyyyyyyyyyy ANYBODY WANNA TRADE A 5 VOLT FOR MY 3.3? :)

Sounds like you had a faulty card, even though it was the right voltage. That's gonna hurt your pocket book to replace it. I'd feel just as pissed off as you're maybe going to feel.

I'm thinking it isn't even worth it to replace. So now, the SP-202 is basically... useless to me? Dammit. I need that extended time.

That's on you my friend. Either wait until you can get a good deal on a 5 volt 2mb/4mb card, or swap it for a 303/404/505/606.....?

I'd find out at least if you order another card, and it doesn't work, then it might be the 202's memory card reader is the culprit. But you won't know until you try.

Yeah. You mentioned a swap? Where might this swap take place and who could possible want to swap a 202 for anything above it?

Make a post here in buy/sell/trade.....Make your offer, and maybe you'll get lucky.

Or, see if somebody will sell you a card.
