Hi!
I got a question about my new SP-404 SX..
When I record for example, some drums playing the pads I activate the "pattern select" and my play is saved in a pad..
How can I use after the rec, the recorded sample with the other pads ( with the pattern select disactivated) ?
Thank you very much!!
(Sorry for my englisch)

There is no way to record or resample Patterns in the 404SX. You can play along to a Pattern by playing a Pattern then pressing Pattern button so you can then play the pads along with the Pattern sequence you have playing. Hah, that was a funny sentence!
This is why many people use other recorders or use the "resample method"- it allows them to record a Pattern externally then sample it to a pad or they use resample method to create to get around polyphony issues and Pattern sequencer issues.

ok so lets say I have a pattern recorded on my 404sx, how do I transfer my pattern from my sd card to a computer file or edit the pattern(s) into a track and then save it to a computer file?

If you have FL studio, you can record directly into there using two separate "Auxiliary to RCA" cables. DO you have FL or any other daws?vmj wrote:ok so lets say I have a pattern recorded on my 404sx, how do I transfer my pattern from my sd card to a computer file or edit the pattern(s) into a track and then save it to a computer file?

So we can't find it in SD card..
Ok!! I'll record it to my daw.. But how can I separate the channels for mixing? Also, choosing midi sync before the rec, how can it helps? Synchronizing the sp and the daw rec?
