Quite frankly, there's nothing in the rules that says otherwise. It only says:
1. All SPs only SPs. all chops, all sequencing. External mastering (E.Q., compression) is ok but don't rearrange anything. The exception to this is if any of the SPs have a useable time stretch feature that is disallowed to be fair to the ones that don't have it.

OK the rules are unclear about this. True. But if you read the following discussion it ends up with the conclusion that "bouncing" is not OK. But rules and "traditions" can be changed. If we are allowed to use 2 or more SPs then bouncing to tape or digital recorder should be allowed to. But not to other samplers (MPC, Kaoss Pad, Microsampler...). We want the "SP-sound".
My question now is. How many of you are bouncing and/or using more than one SP in the battles
uh. so twenty mins after i made my post decided 2 hav a crack anyway. made it entirely in the og404. no sequencing, no external editing or bouncing. used the second sample only, no extra vsts or drums. took fucken ages, listened 2 that shit on loop n resampled like 3 hunna times, nathan but 404, a casio 3240 watch and a notepad.
then just as i was bout 2 cut the cord n upload yesterday morn, asio cut my phone n internet line. also possible might b another victim o this country's decrepit copper networks. u will never b forgiven, malcolm.
no technician until monday at least. net on mobile like last century. means i'll miss freo's first gf win today n the breaking bad finale mon morn.

here's my belated 141. dirty as, cbf cleaning up on comp just dumped direct from compact flash (n boosted volume 10db). all og 404, only 'hunch' sample, no extras, no sequencing, no external bouncing or editing.
was fun doing it all in box (tho final product certainly has that distinct 404 tinniness, mightve been nice to dump to tape at some point). maybe alternate challenges, all in one box for one battle and bouncing allowed 2 another sp machine or cassette for the following battle?
