i just got a copy of acid!!!!!
but.....my disk drives are broken
so what i was wondering if there is any laptops with line ins....for the rca chords?

i doubt it....but if there is can someone send me a link or something please
im saving for a laptop right now

on my computer i just put the red and white hook up to my 404
then the other end into the computer and record into audacity!

Its like a USB sound card, you can hook that up to your computer via the USB port . Just google USB sound cards, or Firewire sound cards, Peace, Duss.

That's a good solution too. I think e-mu makes some pretty nice sound cards with a lot of useful connections. Also by transferring the beat by usb to usb you shouldn't get any signal noise since it's pure digital.

take 500 buck and get yourself a copy of protools and a mbox 2 pro USB. thats the way to go. Cus if you sell a beat and they want it in a data disc and almost everyone uses protools.

^^ This is the reason I got the M-Box, because of protools and the fact that every post production studio works with it. You can get the cheap version as stated, I think they even got one with m-audio where the midi keyboard has inputs, but yeah, do a little research and see what fits your particular situation best.
