Just had a go at making a resample beat for the first time in years... Didn't use the sequencer once here. Didn't add external bass or whatever, only used the first the first 6 seconds of the song + a break to make this:

I know "sample voice" is confusing. I asked him about it day 1 but he seems to be MIA, maybe on holiday! I hope so. It is summer.
I am using my voice so I'd say go for it. Tell him I gave you permission.

new alternate mix I did to tame the bass and get rid of the clipping:

Chopped up on 404sx, made patterns, sampled patterns into 555, recorded bass w loop capture using foot pedal (looped sampled patterns , played bass for correct number of bars, trimmed), resampled patterns and bass together, then played the pads live and resampled whole track in the 555, recorded into 404sx adding delay, then resampled w vinyl sim. Came out too much bass and clipping- fuck it is 5am what do you want from me!!! (was very fun coming up w new workflows on the spot and learning as I went along)
