Just noticed that when you hold down the mark button...

...before you hit the pad, it sets the start point there when you hit the pad.


edit: I thought I was on to something but it doesn't work with the chopping technique.

Yeah, it's pretty limited in it's use.

Well it's still the best way to set a end point.... Unless you like hitting then both at the same time and hope.
