Some of the tracks are pretty frenetic/intense not my thang but I really like track 2 and some others- also really like the lo-fi mono sound- there is a point at which fidelity is irrelevant to the music. I like hearing the "space" of the room where something is recorded. I have some old cassettes mix tapes from 30 years ago and at the end of one is just the sound of my bedroom in summer with fan on and wind chimes- really takes me back and you imagine what the space is like in your mind.

Thanks for feedback and the listen man, I really appreciate it. The reasoning behind a mostly mono tape wasn't purely for the sound unfortunately. The outs on my 303 started to die so I couldn't bounce anything in stereo. It's also the first time I tried producing just through resampling, but I really like freedom and the human feel.

Ahh yes, I have just started to explore the "resampling technique" and I can see the potential and also love the human feel and enhanced connection between myself and the music. Your MMBT has just given me the idea to output some elements to speakers and resample it with built in or other mic. Bass loss can be an issue in some cases- I tried to do a remix using just my phone, internal mic, and headphones. phone did not produce any bass freq and capturing final mix from 404SX sequencer through headphones back to phone was all great but for the lack of bass. Anyway you got my gears turnin' thanks!

I didn't gather that from what you said, I was just out of my comfort zone for this tape so I didn't know what to make of it. It was more a turn of phrase like "even if everyone hates it, I learned enough for it to be worth it." Sorry for the confusion and thanks again for the feedback!

THANK YOU. The acapella chorus for I_10 does not mesh as well with the beat as the other verses. I figured that the acapella for J_04 would throw most people off
