Hi everybody!
I'm hoping to become an owner of the SP-555 during the weekend, but thought maybe you guys could help me a bit with some info on what to look for, when buying such a machine second hand. Are there common issues/things I should be aware of when looking at it? I'm hoping it's in good condition, but just want to avoid buying the cat in the sack.

Make sure the CF card works- format it and record to it, all the buttons, a DC power supply preferably the orig, etc.
I looked for a service manual but can't find one- would be great to know the diagnostic routine but oh well. Good luck!

When I got there it was clearly used just a couple of times and all looked as new. The card worked with no issues, so now I'm a happy part of "the family"
