Check out the Teenage Engineering OP-1 for a sampler with tape in it.Rabot wrote:An analog sampler.... Does it use small tape slice to record sound?Dorkus wrote:Buy an analog sampler. Then you don't have to try to make it warm it just is.

Jesus fuck! I shouldve known better than to post something like that with all the trolls lurking around this forum these days. Yeah, the classic moogs have tape in them too, yes.

Like most other mpc "accessories."
You can get a myriad of filters ranging in price. Just look around.

The proper term would be hardware sampler, but we all know what you mean.Dorkus wrote:Jesus fuck! I shouldve known better than to post something like that with all the trolls lurking around this forum these days. Yeah, the classic moogs have tape in them too, yes.
You could consider a Mellotron to be a hardware sampler by that logic, considering it uses tape for playback.

Not even. What I should have said was a sampler with analog filters which only a handful of hardware samplers have.Freezerbitten wrote:The proper term would be hardware sampler, but we all know what you mean.Dorkus wrote:Jesus fuck!
