only 2 bills and supposed to sound fat. all my gear follows the "can i throw it in my sack and play it on a trip?" test, so i'm coppin' one no doubt. at that price i should still have scratch for some akg cans...

yeah, you could get around not being able to edit the korg's sounds by running it through the mfxs.

Yeah that's a fresh rig. I wish the 303 was portable, Roland really dropped the ball on that since both the 202 and the 404 are battery powered.

yeah that + a portable recorder you'd be good to go. i'm gonna wind up using a zoom h2 even though it's not multi-track cause i need one anyway... gotta catch my baby's talk before she learns our words.

here's a neat little trick which allows a 4-bar loop instead of the standard 2-bar loop:
