Compact Flash Card Size

Post by Reubix »

What's up?! I recently purchased an SP-404(it hasn't arrived yet) and I was wondering, can it only take up to 1gb CF cards or can it go higher? and if so, how high?

If someone's got the answer, that would be great!
Thanks! :)

I have an SX, but from what I hear, it only takes up to 1GB- it seems like this is enough for the average user.

In my case, to fill up the 1GB SD card I use, I'd have to fill all the banks of all the backup slots given with big samples, and even doing that would make it harder to navigate around the sampler and know which project is which/which samples I'm using.

Unless you're trying to record your entire record collection to the SP, you won't need anything bigger than 1GB.
