I usually bring my 505 and ipad when I go anywhere. I find I'm most productive that way.

I also noticed the 404 is picky on batteries. If they aren't equally charged the 404 likes to turn off.

I'm flying to croatia later today, and it's gonna be the first time I bring my sp with me on holiday. I'm very excited!

I'm heading soon and just got a TE op-1! I can't wait to make tracks with her and then throw it all into my 404sx when I return!

Op1 was my favorite gear to have on th road. Just be aware...I was using this in conjunction with a walkman for sampling at a bar one time and didn't realize my connections weren't setup right...I had the lineout of the walkman going into op1 and headphones in the walkman...so when I was fastforwarding and rewinding loudly, everyone was getting annoyed with me! :)

Then there's the 'klakityklak' rhythmically on the keys when you're pounding out drumlines...got a few annoyed glances my way at the airport on several occasions.

Moral of the story is: Just cause shit's legit in your cans don't mean shit's legit with everyone else. :)

Ha! Yeah, fun op-1 stories!
This thing is a blast, and it has a wicked variety of crazy limitations and creative work arounds like the SPs...
Ableton is a bloated ill bitch red headed stepchild at this point....
