the intro sample in this ^ sounds somewhat similar but just super lo-fi and filtered on your track. idk that was the first thing i thought of when i heard it hahaha. ur beat goes so damn hard its crazy

i sampled 2 phrases that were 4 bars each.. through resampling i added a few FX, then i chopped them to 8 pads each (copy/paste + adjust start and end point)

then i sequenced the break and a kick drum / open high hat in a pattern, then added one layer of samples.. then did some fx tweaks and stuff to a copy of the sample with the bass cut out.. then i made 4 variations of the patterns which i switc between the whole time

meanwhile, as i recorded the beat into the daw i did a bunch of live fx drops by using remain key and only effecting the sample chops instead of the drums

hope that made some sort of sense lol
