tascam 644

wadup sp heads , just purchased a tascam 644 midistudio for pretty cheap and wonderin if its a hunk of junk or not , okay so i purchased it put a prerecorded tape in it and it has a constant wierd reverse effect stuck on it , i looked through manual and it helped the playback for a bout a minute than it whent back to the reverse effect , im excited to start recording onto tape but not sure if this portastudio is worth the time , n e feedback would be nice .... peace
