Sure,
Say your just chilling with the homies bumping some tunes on the sp.
im Looking for techniques for smooth transitions from song to song usings the effects.
ex: If you're bumping some j-dilla and you hit the tape echo and if the song is on gate and you let go of the pad it will ring out and echo. Snd then you can hit the next pad and start the next jdilla banger.
stuff like that if that makes sense at all.
Thanks

Re: Effects Mixing Songs! sp 404sx
Ah, okay, gotcha. While I personally don't use the SP for this kind of situation, I do find that using an tape delay or tempo delay or reverb of the last track -> some kind of interesting vocal sample or short 'jingle' -> next track sounds cool to my ears.
If I'm making a single-audiofile beat tape myself, I generally lean towards this, but personally, I don't tend to put transition effects since my beats will usually have some sort of 'ending', if that makes sense. I'll start the vocal sample right when that ending happens, so maybe you could resample the tracks with your own custom 'endings' instead of using live effects.
