I am finding the headphone jack location to be a nuiscance when I work with the 404 on my lap (which is often), anyone ever added a 2nd headphone jack to the top of the unit or side etc.?
EDIT- opened it up and I think it could be done- just waiting to get feedback on implementation as I don't know if any resistors etc. would be needed to make it work properly.

Man, I am always thinking that I hate where the headphone jack is....I'd much rather it be on the front face of the unit somewhere.

After opening it up the most likely places to put one would be bottom corner below DC jack or below the RCA jacks. There really is no room to put one on the face from what I saw, but will look for you when i do this mod. I have built a few guitar pedals and have some excellent resources where people actually know what they are doing.
