Great news gang! We got a new apartment on the 14th! It's better than what we had! (I think my room is smaller, but my studio could be in the living room) It will be tough, but we'll make it. I'm hella tired, so I'll fill you all in later.

Okay, so my roomie got us a new 2 bedroom with a huge living room, and we can move into it on the 14th. I just have to couch surf with my brother for a few days, until I start the process of moving in.

The bad news is, the fire marshall has determined our building highly unstable, so they are telling us we can only grab some essentials, and may have to walk away from the rest. I'm hella pissed at that news, because I have years of stuff in my room, and to me, it's all essential. But there'd be no point in going for it if the whole building decided to cave in on me. So, all I can do is go to work tonight, get some sleep tomorrow morning after work, wait until my brother gets off work, and then go to work the next night(and get my paycheck), get paid friday, and see where we're at by that point. I'd love to keep my Akai S20, even though it's a P.O.S. compared to the sp505 I have on layaway, but I need my cd's, and what few records I have in my closet. Buuuut, it's all up in the air right now.

Yeah, going to be poor, but okay, and I really can't complain. Me and my roomie are going to just have to pay any bills that come our way for awhile, I won't be able to get anything I have in the pawn store out, and I can't buy the sp-202 I just saw today (which is okay, since I have a sp-505 on layaway). But my room is supposed to be bigger, which I'm happy about. (We move in tomorrow) So it's going to be hard to just struggle all over again, but she's supposed to land this really great job, and if she does it, then she'll be the one paying most the bills.....And then I'd be able to focus on my gear getting out, or buying new stuff. I'm hoping anyway.

For real, I got paid an extra $100 because of Holiday pay, so that was a extra day of cash (And really needed). I have to work July 4th, so I'm getting paid double for that holiday as well. So for real, I came through being homeless last year, and this year I survived a fire. Next year has just got to be the year I do this...
