Rename songs and patterns

Hello everybody!

Probably a basic thing, but I simply just can't get around to it..

Where do you rename your songs and patterns?

I'm using my 505 primarily for triggering samples live, and it bugs me that I cannot rename pad banks as the name of the songs

You cannot change names of the pad banks.

That I understand completely, I am asking about changing the names of the songs and patterns.

If you press "record" button once it takes you to the record pattern setup screen where you adjust tempo, bar length etc etc. There will be a soft menu button that says "rename". This will let you rename your patterns
