SP as Master Clock issues

I'm trying to sync my minibrute arpeggiator to the Sp-606 and it's not working at all. Also, is there a way to record in new notes while the sequencer is running? This thing sounds great and is pretty intuitive but there are a couple of things ^ that I'm still struggling to get working. I work with a lot of midi gear but somehow I think I'm missing something obvious here. Thanks guys!

Ok, so I see now the issue with the master clock. I have to hit stop twice to get to the beginning of the sequence for it to work right. So weird.

Its a cooky machine huh. Some crazy things do happen and when they do, I give my girl the treatment to release the frustration.
