Computer not recognizing interphase

Computer not recognizing interphase
So after moving to a new place i finally get around to set up all my audio shit and my macbook pro (2009) wont recognize my presonus audiobox usb interphase...the interphase is getting power neither my computer or daw will recignize its presence...ive tried a couple different cables and both usb ports

Open the system preferences and go to the sound section. See if the audiobox is showing up under the line-in / line-out section. You shouldn't need drivers for osx.

that's odd i used to have the same interface and also have mac book pro. i don't remember if it came with a driver cd- did you check that? also check the presonus website for driver download
edit: just looked at the site and the audiobox usb is class compliant core audio so no drivers for mac 10.4 or above it should be plug and play
try restarting computer?
