anyone know how to fix this?

I would just try taking it apart and taking a look at it, the solution may be obvious once you open it up.

i think this happened to me once, when i put the card in upside down, it all still works though, does the sp read your card ?

yeah it reads the card and everything but when i try to push it out it just comes out a little bit and then goes back in

You might try an automotive fuse puller to get it out http://www.amazon.com/Littelfuse-097023 ... B000BOB3TW

I wouldn't use metal tweezers cuz it could damage something more than the plastic ones.

I don't have an SX so I'm not sure what it looks like when you take it apart.

Fixed it! :D

I opened it up and there was a part of the card reader sticking out of its slot. Just had to move it back in and the card came right out

One thing I really hate about SD cards other than their size sometimes being in awkward to access places on devices is the LOCK slider. Can't tell you how many times I put the card in something, including the 404 and the lock became active. GRR. Glad you fixed it. I'll know what to do when mine will inevitably one day get stuck too. :wink:
