Turned on my sp404 and the volume for every pad is nearly inaudible. I checked the cable, and I'm having the same problem from the headphone jack. Also I checked the internal processing level and thats not the issue either. I tried battery power, plugging into the wall. Honestly I'm stumped.

Re: 404 output volume extremely low
any way you can put the sd card into the computer and check the samples there? Thats the only other thing i could suggest to see if its the samples and not the box. Would suck if it were the box.
Good luck with that.

Re: 404 output volume extremely low
I can hear the samples ever so slightly through my mixer and if i put an overdrive on a sample I can hear it better. So I know that the samples are there and all the functions on the 404 seem to be working properly, except the output is so weak. It seems like there is a component somewhere that could be fixed???
Re: 404 output volume extremely low
try increasing the output gain (func+pad12)

Re: 404 output volume extremely low
Woops, yea I guess this was the wrong section. Anyway, if anyone was wondering, I took the 404 to a pro and he said it had something to do with having jostled something out of place inside the output circuit. Shits lost on me, but I got it fixed on the cheap!
