Just been offered one, not sure which. Not going live with it so music production is the key really.

EDIT:People are right, going to stick with reading up and watching more youtube videos. I won't ask hopefully these questions again going to just wing it and buy one and flip as have been mentioned.

Sorry guys, hope you guys can forgive.

Your posts always seem to make me cringe. You don't need to ask the same questions over and over in different posts.

Steps:

1. Buy SP
2. Sample music
3. Make beats
4: Win

If your SP is not working out for you try a different one. If that next one doesn't work, try another.... I would say that if you are not happy with the 404 the other SPs won't make you happy either.

Remember... Sample, chop, arrange. Any sampler out there can achieve this. You're the one that's gotta do the work.

/end rant

Sorry if I make you cringe.

Just I don't want to flip it and lose out, I rather go and make an informed choice from reading and people's experience. I don't think thats too unfair to ask.

Thanks, but I think people are right in general, I was just interested in hearing opinions but I can understand how it could rub people the wrong way. I'm want to be part of the sp family.

Get the fuck outta here with that 'forgive me' shit!

Just research on the features to what you need and don't need, then add them all up and the one that weighs the most, is the one you choose.

The dude is really talented guys, its just that he's a little... **cough** green **cough** with music production... ahh my throat **cough** **cough**

Before the internet became what it is today you would go down to guitar center or whatever store and look around, ask the sales clerks, a few questions, find something you csn afford, take that thing home and spend houts on it til you had it mastered. Just go buy which ever one you can afford.

I bought my 505 with no idea about it's features other than it sampled and had 16 pads. All I knew was that I had to get a sampler, so I did.
