Thanks ILL. I thought it was Roland itself wich wanted to make that reissue...they're really sleeping at Roland....how much does it costs, anyway?Ill Green wrote:No rumors, a TB303 clone was manufactured 3 month ago by Cyclone (Get it, Cy-CLONE).ellaguru wrote:I heard just rumours about a new edition of TB 303 by roland. Can't wait for a clone of the SP1200 and MPC3000.
Re: NEW KORG VOLCA SERIES
Yes, korg begun to took the market slowly with electribes series, then kaoss pad series and after some years they hit the coup de grace with the microkorg. Now with those new machines (monotrons, volcas, mini ms20,microsampler) the market is comquerer.wax inspektor wrote:i just love the way korg's been going..
monotrons & -tribe; ms20 mini, volca series - thumbs up guys!
beside the ms20 they are are all pretty toyish, which is cool cause it leads into (non visual) creativity. i can easily space out on the delay for an hour...
a bit tempted by the volca beats since i never owned a drum machine.
but 6 sounds only?! we'll see...
I own an ms20, a kp2 and 3 and an esx. But i have to admit that their politics of marketing is astonishing.
And this volca serie is tempting.
Re: NEW KORG VOLCA SERIES
299usd is not very expensive for that quality...Ill Green wrote:ellaguru wrote:Ill Green wrote: I heard it'll be around $299 USD. So many toys for the summer its crazy.

Re: NEW KORG VOLCA SERIES
I must admit, I thought it was the shape of things to come when I found out Wakai was discontinuing the MPC1000.
It's good to know Korg are releasing modern revamps of classics and all new analogue gear.
EMU, Roland, please jump on the bandwagon and give us SP-1200 and
MS-1 remakes.
